Fashion week

I'm so excited for September 5 - 12 — New York Fashion Week. My friend Lori and I will be visiting the city, and I'm going to try to work the shows. It'll be a perfect way for me to get a preview of what I'm going to do when I move and make great contacts with designers and the temp agency I'll be working through. This way, when I move in January I'll have a super-smooth transition.

Today I picked up dinner at my favorite low-end Chinese take-out place. The best part of the meal is always the fortune cookie, and tonight was the most amazing fortune of them all.
